A RIDING school for disabled people has reopened following a revamp funded by donations.
The charity-run Follifoot Park Disabled Riders Group, which operates from Follifoot Park Riding Centre in Harrogate, now has a new roof with more skylights, newly-painted white walls and a new waxed sand riding surface that is designed to be dust-free and easy to clean.
Wendy Thorburn, a group trustee, said: “Having such talented, capable, and generous supporters is fantastic for an independent charity like us, like the Follifoot Park Disabled Riders Groupwhich relies entirely on donations and sponsorship to exist.”
