IMAGES have been released of a man and woman Harrogate Police want to speak to about thefts in the town.

Five bottles of vodka were stolen from Marks and Spencer in Cambridge Street at about 4.30pm on Sunday, September 21, and just after noon on Monday, September 22.

The man is described as white, about 6ft 4in tall and short brown hair, wearing a white t-shirt, a striped hooded top, grey jogging bottoms with bright orange stripes.

PC Brendon Frith, of Harrogate Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: "It may be that the two people captured on camera had nothing to do with the thefts. If this is the case I urge them to come forward straight away so I can eliminate them from my enquiries. I am also keen to speak to anyone who recognises either of the people and ask them to get in touch with me as soon as possible."

Anyone who recognises the people should phone 101, email brendan.frith@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk or phone Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
