THE MP for Harrogate and Knaresborough is to host a public event to discuss Alzheimer’s Disease.
According to Health and Social Care Information Centre (HSCIC), Harrogate Clinical Commission Group’s area is one of the top ten in the UK for the recorded prevalence of dementia in 2013/14.
The event is organized by Alzheimer’s Research UK to provide an opportunity for the public to learn more about dementia and the research taking place in the UK.
Mr Jones will be joined by experts from universities and Alzheimer’s Research UK to discuss developments expected in the coming years.
The meeting is on Thursday, September 25, from 2pm to 4pm at the Holiday Inn, Kings Road, Harrogate.
