POLICE are searching for a driver after a cyclist was injured in a hit-and-run accident at a roundabout.
The say the motorist may have been unaware that the 51-year-old woman was knocked off her bike in the collision on the A61 in Ripley, near Harrogate.
She was riding from Ripon to Harrogate at 7.35am on Sunday when she was involved in the accident with a small silver car which headed in the same direction before turning on to the B6165 Knaresborough Road.
The woman was treated in hospital for serious injuries to her right hand shoulder and elbow.
