Peace talk at Ripon Cathedral
A TALK on the place art can play in peace making in Korea will take place at Ripon Cathedral at Thursday, June 12 at 7pm.
The latest St Wilfrid Lecture will be given by Professor Sebastian Kim from York St John University, on the theme of “Minjung Art: A tool for peace-building in the Korean Peninsula”.
The 2014 St Wilfrid Lectures take the 100th anniversary of The First World War as inspiration and all speakers are focusing on peace building, conflict resolution or reconciliation transformation.
