HARROGATE’S fashion history is being celebrated with three displays at the Royal Pump Room Museum.
Static Style: Synthetic Fabrics and Fashions is a collection of Crimpeline creations, the fabric developed locally in Harrogate.
Harrogate College: A Costume Collaboration will show off work from students at Harrogate College, inspired by the museum’s dress collection. A Fashionable Town includes a short film, newly-published book and collection of pieces, all celebrating Harrogate as a place to see and be seen in the latest fashion.
The museum is open Monday to Saturday 10.30am-5pm and Sundays 2-5pm and the collections will be on show until July 13.
