Harrogate Christmas market to return
THE Harrogate Christmas Market will return for a third year in 2014, after the last event brought 40,000 visitors to the town.
The market will be on St Mary’s Walk at the bottom of Montpellier Hill from Thursday, November 27 to Sunday, November 30. Organisers said a larger craft and gift marquee and wider gangways will accommodate the crowds and the layout has been redesigned to improve the overall visitor experience.
The event will continue to be run on a not-for-profit basis, with any surplus donated to local good causes, including the annual Christmas lights appeal.
