Burning paper pushed through letterbox

VANDALS tried to push burning paper through the letterbox of a house in Ripon.
No one was hurt in the incident, at Willow Walk at about 11.45pm on Friday, but the door was damaged.
A fire service spokesman said the blaze was out on arrival.
