A WOMAN is being sought after allegedly allowing her dog to “savage” chickens.
The incident happened in Bilton Lane in the Starbeck area of Harrogate when the labrador or retriever dog allegedly attacked several chickens.
Police want to speak to the woman, who was about 40 with short blonde hair and a long black coat and silver trainers.
The incident was reported to police at about 9.30am on Monday.
The woman, or anyone who can help identify her, is urged to phone police on 101.
