PAMPERED pooches have the chance to enjoy their own deluxe Christmas dinner at a North Yorkshire hotel – but it will set their owners back £105.

The dogs and their owners have been invited to tuck in at the Best Western Dower House Hotel, in Knaresborough, where the dogs will be waited on by their own butler.

The hotel said the idea was in response to increased demand for luxury pet treats.

Food on offer includes matured Kobe beef, filet mignon and porterhouse steak, all cooked to order.

The pets will be served in a dining area separate from other guests, and the special service is available at several of the Best Western group’s hotels.

Ken Hardy, the Dower House Hotel’s general manager, said the dinners had already been served up to two dogs and another was pencilled in for Christmas Day.

“We wanted people to be able to bring their dogs with them and let them have a treat,” Mr Hardy said.
