SMALL local businesses are being invited to an event to support growth and help get young people into work.
Hambleton District Council is investing £100,000 into the Changing Lives Better Business initiative, which includes an apprentice scheme paying a subsidy of 50 per cent of the wages of 15 young people for six months.
More information will be given at the event at 5.30pm on Tuesday at the Evolution Business Centre, Northallerton.
