Car catches fire in Thirsk

FIREFIGHTERS were called to a car park in Station Road, Thirsk, after a vehicle caught fire at about 2.40pm on Saturday.
The fire was confined to the engine compartment of the car, and crews used breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to extinguish the blaze.
