TWO stars of the TV programme Young Vets will pay a visit to the home of James Herriot next week.
Judy Puddifoot and Elly Berry star in the TV series on BBC Two have been invited to the World of James Herriot, in Thirsk, by education officer Michael Fram, who is a fan of the show.
The pair, who are both James Herriot fans, will meet Jim Wight and Rosie Page – son and daughter of Alf Wight, the man behind the James Herriot books.
The centre’s managing director, Ian Ashton, said: “We are delighted to be welcoming Judy and Elly who, along with their colleagues in the Young Vets series set a fine example of what we are hoping to inspire with our recently launched James Herriot Statue and Legacy Fund, an initiative to encourage people interested in animal welfare and veterinary work inspired by James Herriot.”
