A CHARITY team from Hambleton have celebrated their thirtieth anniversary.
Foundation has been collecting for food banks in the North of England for 30 years, and the Hambleton team has spent recent weeks collecting food for Broadacres Food Association to provide emergency food parcels for people in the area.
The group has collected enough to make 30 parcels, which were handed to Broadacres yesterday, and to celebrate Foundation’s 30th anniversary, the charity hopes to raise £30,000 for a new venture.
A spokesman said: “We have plans to create a rural, woodland enterprise that offers support for vulnerable young people to help them realise their ambitions and potential.”
