Dan Howie, of Team Atlantic Row 2013, will start 12 hours on a rowing machine in Northallerton town centre tomorrow from 5.30am to raise awareness for a challenge he is undertaking with the aim of raising more than £200,000 for charity.
Next Christmas, Mr Howie and friend Will North will leave the Canary Islands to row 3,000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean to Antigua, as part of the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge. Team Atlantic Row 2013 are supporting the charities Cancer Research, Leukaemia and Lymphoma and St Anna’s.
The crew is seeking corporate sponsors to join the campaign and help to fund Team Atlantic Row 2013.
