Girls and Boys 3 -11

Tregelles, the Junior Department of The Mount School caters for boys and girls between the ages of 3 and 11.

There is a spacious, well-equipped Nursery and Before and After School Care is available.

Tregelles provides a friendly and caring environment in which children feel valued and secure.

A rich, broad and challenging curriculum is offered and high academic standards are achieved together with the development of the spiritual and moral values of those in our care.

In addition to it's own dedicated buildings and site which was extended in 2003 to provide four new classrooms, IT suite and library, Tregelles shares the excellent facilities of the Senior School including the gymnasium, sports hall and swimming pool.

A wide ranging programme of extra curricular activities is available from Year 1.

Individual music tuition is offered across a wide range of instruments and participation in choir and orchestra is encouraged.

Pupils are involved in performance drama with high quality joint productions with the Senior School being a particular strength.

Regular sporting fixtures take place against local schools in a variety of sports.
