St Olave’s School celebrate decade of maths masterclasses

A GROUP of 51 Year 6 pupils from across York helped to celebrate a decade of maths masterclasses by attending the first of two classes run by staff at St Olave’s School.
This is the 10th year St Olave’s has run the classes and the numbers continue to grow with 19 schools from across York and the region sending pupils and staff.
There are eight to ten children per teaching group allowing for in-depth practical sessions and discussion. Older Year 8 pupils from St Olave’s also assist as mentors.
