HAS St Joseph’s RC Primary School, in Pickering, got talent?
That was the question on everybody’s lips at the school as 40 pupils, ex-students, teachers and parents took to the stage for a variety contest.
The Friends Of St Joseph’s School organised the theatrical spectacle to raise funds for the school and a local charity.
Committee members Julia Ellis and Suzy Hodgson donned their 1970s glad rags for their very own ABBA act while teachers from the school formed a Spice Girls tribute group. A spokesperson for the school said: “There was something for everybody and the fundraiser was a knock-out success. The students really got involved and many of them did their own singing, dancing and musical performances.”
