Plea for witnesses to Bridlington crash

POLICE are investigating a crash in an East Yorkshire town.
The collision happened at 10pm on Saturday, when a blue Yamaha motorbike, ridden by a 31-year-old man, in Richmond Street, Bridlington, struck a blue Volkswagen Sharan which was parked in the street.
The motorcyclist was thrown from the bike and taken to Hull Royal Infirmary with head and chest injuries. Anybody who saw the crash or the motorcycle just before it happened should phone Humberside Police on 101.
