Care home plan for Beverley

A NEW care home for 61 people could be created in an East Yorkshire town.

Plans have been drawn up by developers the Horncastle Group for the facility in Beverley after a public consultation exercise was carried out earlier this year to assess the views of people living nearby.

The three-storey building is earmarked for Beverley Parklands and would have 20 parking spaces. The applicants claim it would provide a “high-quality, safe and inclusive” environment for those living there.

The proposals have been submitted to East Riding of Yorkshire Council, which is set to make a decision in August.
