TICKETS are now available for the 2012 Seabird Spectacle, off the Yorkshire coast.

The event, run by Yorkshire Coast Nature and Visit Hull and East Yorkshire, gives visitors the chance to see thousands of seabirds of all different species, on the cliffs of RSPB Bempton.

In the morning, a cruise will leave Bridlington harbour heading for Flamborough Head, to provide guests with the opportunity to view gannets and puffins within metres of the boat, while kittiwakes, shags, guillemots, razorbills and fulmars will all be in view alongside the boat, both on the sea and in flight.

Visitors will then head to the Rags Hotel bar and restaurant, on Bridlington’s South Pier, for a two-course lunch and drink, before viewing Bempton Cliffs RSPB reserve, which has special platforms overlooking the colony.

The events will be held on Sunday, May 27 from 9am, Saturday, June 9, Sunday, June 24, and Sunday, July 8, from 8.30.

Tickets will cost £48.
