After-school club boost in Goole
8:13am Monday 30th April 2012 in East Yorkshire news
GOOLE High School has joined forces with local primary schools to create a new partnership to benefit local children.
The Goole Area Schools Partnership (GASP) has been set up by head teachers from all the primary schools in the town in a bid to help parents and children.
The first project created by GASP is a new after-school club, due to start in September.
The club will provide childcare for working parents until 5.30pm every weekday in the community building at Goole High School, off Centenary Road.
Children joining the club will be transported from their own school by bus, supervised by GASP activity co-ordinator Andy Jackson, and will arrive at Goole High School for 4pm.
The cost per day is £9 per child, including transport, club entry and a light meal or snack.
For details, phone the community team at Goole High School on 01405 768621 ext 208.
