A BURGLARY-HIT East Yorkshire allotment site has been targeted by thieves once again.
Intruders dug under sheds and removed roofs at The Mile, in Pocklington, overnight last Wednesday. The same site had been targeted by thieves in a string of five thefts last summer.
Sgt Pete Rogers, of Pocklington Police, said the thieves stole costly equipment and tools.
He said they would have been in a vehicle and the recent fitting of security gates on the site meant that they would have had to park outside on The Mile itself.
Sgt Rogers asked anyone with information to phone Humberside Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
