STAFF at Goole Academy have helped raise £46 for Goole District Lions with a competition to win a Christmas cake.
The Yuletide treat had been made and decorated on behalf of the charity group and staff members were invited to pay £1 to put their name in a numbered square.
The winner of the cake was graduate coach Chris Pollard.
