PEOPLE in the East Riding are being asked to give their views on transport in the area, to help create a transport plan for the next 14 years.

All local transport authorities outside London have to produce a Local Transport Plan (LTP) setting out transport strategies and policies for a particular area and explaining how funding will be invested to improve the local transport network, and the East Riding is currently developing its next LTP, which will come into effect in April 2015.

A draft LTP is available for consultation for eight weeks from November 1, via the council website or at council customer service centres. A survey can also be completed by visiting http://bit.ly/LTPsurvey
