FIREFIGHTERS have rescued a man who was stuck on a cherry picker after it collided with a chimney in East Yorkshire.
Humberside Fire & Rescue Service said the incident happened at 11.30am today in Beckside North, Beverley.
The collision left the chimney on the roof of a building in a precarious position, and an aerial ladder platform was used to rescue the man. Approximately four metres of chimney stack was also removed to make it safe.
