MEMBERS of East Riding Libraries now have free access to 50 popular magazines.
The libraries use subscription website, Zinio which means members can access titles on their tablets, phones or computers, and download them to read offline.
Librarian Katherine Richardson said: “It’s a different library experience – you don’t have to come into the library itself and there’s unlimited access to the magazines.
The wide variety of free titles include Amateur Photographer, Auto Express, BBC Good Food, Countryfile, Health & Fitness, Hello! magazine, Ideal Home, Marie Claire, New Scientist and Woman’s Own.
To access the e-magazines, members of the public need to join East Riding Libraries, then follow the instructions at http://www.eastriding.gov.uk/emags, or contact their nearest library.
