A MOTORIST suffered serious injuries in a crash with a tractor in East Yorkshire last Wednesday.
Humberside Police said a black Peugeot 206 and a green and yellow John Deere tractor which was towing farm equipment at the junction of the A165 Scarborough Road and Grindale Road, near Speeton.
The driver of the car was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary and treated overnight for injuries which were serious but not life threatening. He left hospital the following day.
The A165 and surrounding roads were closed for about two hours while investigations took place, and police have urged anyone who saw either vehicle prior to the crash, or who witnessed the incident to contact Humberside Police on 101.
