Auction of promises to keep bi-plane flying
AN AUCTION will be held to help raise money for an East Yorkshire school project.
Goole Academy will host a charity dinner and auction of promises in aid of its Build A Plane project on October 9.
Prizes will include a flight in a vintage aircraft, a hand-made leather flying jacket, a tandem sky dive and a wing walk, as well as beauty treatments and a Tesco hamper.
The evening will also have entertainment from The RAF Swing Wing band, a carvery and bar, to raise money to fund the Spirit of Goole – a fully operational bi-plane.
Tickets cost £25 and can be bought individually, or in part or whole tables of ten.
