A MAN has been taken to hospital with burns to his hands, face and head after petrol vapours ignited in an inspection pit in an East Yorkshire village.
Humberside Fire & Rescue Service said a spark from welding ignited the vapours at premises in York Road, Shiptonthorpe, early this afternoon, causing slight smoke damage to the building.
