EAST Riding Council is appealing for grant applications for a £300,000 pot of money to revitalise high streets across the county.
Thirty-six projects are already for the The East Riding High Street Fund – including pop-up and empty shop initiatives, free town centre Wi-Fi, and heritage trails – and bids from towns including Beverley, Driffield, Pocklington and Market Weighton are still welcome.
Grants of between £2,000 and £5,000 are available for single organisation applicants while joint applications can apply for up to £10,000.
The first grant panel assessment for full applications will take place in September and again in October and January.
