PROMENADES Shopping Centre in Bridlington has joined forces with British Heart Foundation shops to launch their Bag It. Beat It. campaign.
The campaign urges people to donate bags of unwanted items to be sold in the charity’s shops and fund life-saving heart research, helping over 40,000 children continue to fight congenital heart disease.
The Bag It. Beat It. event at Promenades Shopping Centre will be officially launched by the Mayor, Councillor Shelagh Finlay when she donates the first bag of items at noon on Monday September 8.
During the week visitors to Promenades shopping centre can pick up an empty bag to fill with unwanted items such as clothes, shoes, books, handbags, DVDs, CDs, bric-a-brac and children’s toys which can then be taken to the drop point in the centre or the BHF shop.
