TWO people have died and two others have been badly injured in a three-car crash in East Yorkshire today.
The accident happened on the A164 near the entrance to Driffield Golf Club at 1.15pm.
It involved a silver Nissan Micra, a white Nissan Qashqai and a red Chevrolet Kalos SX.
A man driving the Nissan Micra and a woman passenger, both believed to be in their 70s, died, said Humberside Police.
A man driving the Nissan Qashqai and a woman passenger suffered injuries described as serious but apparently not life-threatening, and were taken to Hull Royal Infirmary.
The Chevrolet driver and passengers were not injured. The road was closed until 6.30pm.
Witnesses are asked to phone Humberside Police on 101, quoting log 286 of August 6.
