New bus information service for East Yorkshire
BUSES in the East Riding will soon carry real time information for passengers around the area.
Every East Yorkshire Motor Services (EYMS) has been fitted with a tracker to transmit location information, and tell passengers exactly when their bus is due to arrive.
The information can be accessed by visiting nextbuses.mobi The service is free to use, apart from data charges by your mobile phone operator.
The scheme was funded by East Riding of Yorkshire Council, following a successful bid to the Department for Transport.
