A POP-UP exhibition about the First World War is on tour around libraries in East Yorkshire.
“Cavalry, camels and Camaraderie” looks at the East Riding Yeomanry’s role in the Egypt and Palestine campaigns in 1915-1918 and the mini display will be on show in libraries including Snaith and Beverley library until October.
The display includes artefacts, photographs and documents about the campaigns and the full exhibition can be seen at the Treasure House in Beverley until Friday, September 19.
The East Riding’s museums registrar Dr David Marchant said he hoped the display would attract new visitors into the libraries and help promote the main exhibition later in the year.
