CHILDREN at Pocklington Community Junior School have raised hundreds of pounds in a charity initiative.
The Year 6 youngsters were taking part in the Fiver Challenge, sponsored by Virgin Money, and turned their £5 per head into £600 in 30 days.
The budding entrepreneurs donated the money to Water Aid.
The pupils created businesses including dog walking services, craft stalls, a beauty therapy service and hand car washing.
The project culminated in a successful car boot sale organised by the children in the school grounds.
