Pair admit Beverley robbery plans
TWO men, Jack O’Neil, 19, and Kevin Smith, 22, have pleaded guilty to conspiracy to rob Guest and Phillips Jewellers in Saturday Market, Beverley, last August, and will be sentenced later.
Senior Investigating Officer Mathew Hutchinson of Humberside Police said staff at the shop had been faced with a very frightening situation.
He said: “It is hard to imagine the terror they experienced throughout the ordeal.”
