Summer drinks festival at Pocklington Arts Centre
POCKLINGTON Arts Centre is playing host to a two-day drinks festival.
The Summer Beer, Cider & Wine Festival, organised by Brass Castle Brewery, The Wine Club from York and the arts centre will take place on Friday, June 27, from 4pm to 10.30pm and Saturday, June 28 from 1pm to 10.30pm.
Ian Goodall from the brewery said: “For our first mid-year beer festival held in partnership with Pocklington Arts Centre, we have decided to provide a “from Yorkshire” theme for all beers, lagers and ciders. Of course you can expect a few “cycling themed” beers as well.”
On the Saturday, both of the World Cup final 16 games will be shown live from 5pm.
Tickets are £5 in advance and £7 on the door each and include a glass and tasting notes.
