A WATCH and a knife have been stolen in a burglary in Beverley.
The silver pocket watch with an engraved message on the back and the handcrafted knife, with a 5in blade and a wooden handle, were taken between 8.30am and 7pm on June 28 at a house in Copandale Road, together with a HP Compact Presario laptop, a silver and grey Rock Xtreme laptop and a black HTC Wildfire mobile phone.
Meanwhile thieves stole ten 40kg tractor weights from a farm in Houghton Lane, Sancton, south of Market Weighton, between 4.30pm on Sunday and 4pm on Monday.
The weights were attached to a tractor parked in a shed on the premises.
Humberside Police said two men in a white van had been seen hanging around the farm several days previously.
Anyone with information should phone Humberside Police on 101.
