North Bridlington Library will be celebrating its tenth birthday between noon and 2pm on Tuesday, with displays and competitions throughout the day and light refreshments provided by PPP-IML, who own the building.
At noon, the chairman of East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Coun Chad Chadwick, will cut a birthday cake and the Martongate Primary School choir will provide a musical accompaniment.
Library users are being asked to share their memories of the library and can drop in or phone 01262 671468. A display of stories will be exhibited on the day. People who are not members of the library but would like to join can also do this on the day.
