Advice for public on money and benefits

WORKSHOPS are being held by East Riding of Yorkshire Council to help residents with benefits and money advice.
The benefits team will advise pensioners who may not realise what they are eligible for, and answer question about council tax, housing benefit, pension credit, attendance allowance, disability living allowance or carers’ entitlements.
The sessions will take place on the following dates:
• Thursday, November 29, 1pm to 4pm at Pocklington library
• Tuesday, December 4, 9am to 12pm at Bridlington North library
• Tuesday, December 4, 1pm to 4pm at Bridlington Central library
