THE funeral of York Marine David Hart, who was killed in Afghanistan, will be held at the Minster next Tuesday.
Marine David Hart, 23, of 40 Commando, was serving as part of the Combined Force Sangin when he was killed in an explosion on a foot patrol on July 8. He is York’s third victim of the conflict. Duncombe Place, Deangate and High Petergate will be closed while the service takes place.
