YORK Minster’s medieval stained glass is a marvel – all the more so when seen up close. Throughout most of history, ordinary people have only been able to peer up at the glass high above them.
Since October 2012, however, 1.4 million visitors have flocked to see recently restored panels up close and personal in the Orb, the award-winning attraction in the Minster’s East End.
Now is your last chance. The Orb will close at the end of May. So if you want to appreciate the full beauty of the Minster’s magnificent glass, do so quickly.
