NORTH Yorkshire chef James Martin may be well known for helping hospitals improve their menus, but what about those on the front line who daily produce nutritional meals, often on a meagre budget?
They are the real heroes. People such as Keith Ellerby, who spent 50 years at York Hospital doing just that.
Sadly, Keith died in a fishing accident three years ago, but his memory is set to live on at a new restaurant on site that has been named in his honour.
Isn't it good to see unsung heroes getting the sort of recognition they deserve?
