Hungate on the rise
THERE is better news from Hungate, the once derailed development in York that is finally going full steam ahead.
Today we show an image of how the area is set to look following completion of the £130 million redevelopment and it looks amazing; a far cry from the slums Benjamin Seebohm Rowntree witnessed.
Hungate will soon become a new, vibrant addition to York’s skyline. It’s a real phoenix from the ashes.
