THE people of Yorkshire have responded with typical generosity to a winter appeal.
Yorkshire Harvest has seen hundreds of pounds worth of food donated to local charities.
It is now being distributed around local food banks and homelessness centres.
“This will keep us going until after Christmas,” said Laura Hagues, manager of the York Foodbank. “Thank you everyone.”
