YESTERDAY morning Yorkshire boasted five Michelin Star restaurants, more than any other county in England, outside London.
Then, at midday, that already impressive figure rose on the news that Andrew Pern’s Star Inn at Harome had regained its stellar status for the 2015 guide.
The restaurant is one of only 14 nationally to be added to the guide and we are delighted for Mr Pern and his staff.
As the currently running food festival in York proves, this county’s reputation for food is second to none.
The Michelin Guide simply confirms that fact.
