NOW that was more than middlin’.
The Tykes have picked up their first county cricket championship since 2001 – and only their second since 1968.
Back in the Sixties they were almost unbeatable. And in its long history, the club has now claimed 31 championships, plus one shared – way more than any other county.
Then it all went a bit wrong, with just one victory in more than 40 years.
So it’s summat to see them back at the top. Here’s to more success next year...
