Carelessness costs
CARELESS driving has suddenly become a lot more costly.
Police in North Yorkshire have handed out hundreds of pounds worth of fines under new powers to issue fixed penalties for careless driving.
Good. If there is one thing that will make drivers take more care, it is being hit in their pockets. Ultimately, these new powers should make our roads that bit safer.
