Claudia Lawrence's friend to run in aid of Missing People charity

A CLOSE friend of missing York chef Claudia Lawrence is taking part in a charity run this weekend in aid of the charity Missing People Jen King will be one of 1,000 runners taking part in a 10km race in London’s Regents Park tomorrow.

Jen has, along with Suzy Cooper and Claudia’s father, Peter Lawrence, worked tirelessly to find out what has happened to Claudia since she went missing from York in March 2009.

Jen said: “I am doing this to help raise funds for Missing People so that they in turn can provide support for missing children, vulnerable adults and families left in limbo.”

Mr Lawrence will also be attending the London event at 10.30am.
